I really just wanted something cold. Dessert perhaps, or maybe a chilled drink but with loads of ice in it. Little did I know, I was in for a sweet surprise. I can't wait to tell you about their gorgeous waffles!
Brewmen Coffee
"Phew. This feels good". I thought to myself once I pushed opened the doors to Brewmen, followed by a whiff of soothing cooled air.
It was a scorching Sunday evening, further intensified by the charcoal fire that was blasting away throughout my Korean barbecue feast earlier. It was smoky yet satisfying however - will talk about that in another write-up.
Now, Brewmen takes their coffee seriously. You'd get to pick your coffee from a variety of brewing methods, coffee extraction techniques, and from a handful of unique In-house blends here.
Fresh Red. Rm11.
Since it was my first visit here, I asked for recommendations but was instead given a whole list to choose from - that didn't do much help. I eventually settled with this Fresh Red Espresso - not a coffee and no caffeine, but a Rooibos tea - that did its job of quenching my dying thirst.
Brewman Filtered Coffee. Rm15.
My friend wanted something different and decided with this Honduras, In-house blend that was served in a cylindrical flask.
S'more-Ffle. Rm15.
Oreo Waffle. Rm15.
This waffle didn't looked as fanciful compared to the former, but was equally marvelous. The vanilla ice cream was smooth and clearly not one that you can grab off the supermarket shelves.
Overall Rating: 8/10. I would surely return for their waffles. Merely reminiscing about it now makes me crave for more Wait for me!
