Ultrasonic Premium Hair Treatment Review at Number76 Bangsar 2 KL

I have a love-hate relationship with Bangsar. The standalone eateries here continuously render returning visits. But, the hassle of scouting for parking spaces never fail to test my patience every single time. It almost always takes me at least 30 minutes to locate a parking spot, no different on this eventful weekend too for that matter.

All was forgotten once I stepped into Number76 Hair Saloon. Enthralled by the Japanese rustic charm, followed by a wave of friendly Japanese greetings from the hair stylists - eventhough I have no idea what it meant.

 

How to get to Number76 Bangsar 2 outlet:

Park in Bangsar Village I. Upon exiting, you will see Chawan restaurant right in front, on the left hand side. Walk across, and towards the row of shop lots behind Chawan. Number76 faces the residential houses, alongside the post office and dominos pizza. Tous Les Jours is at the other end of the corner. Alternatively, you can park at the residential area opposite and walk across. 

Number76 was made popular by our homegrown social media influencers. I read their blogs too! There are 5 outlets in total now - Mid Valley, Plaza Mont Kiara, Starhill Gallery, Bangsar 1 and Bangsar 2. And I was at the Bangsar 2 outlet for a hair pampering session that sunny Sunday afternoon.

Once seated, I was given a bag to protect my bag - an attentive touch, with a biscuit at the side.

Today, I'm opting for Number76's newest and limited time only, Ultrasonic Premium Treatment (RM280), valid from 18 Jan to 18 Feb 2015. An upgrade from their all-time favorite, Signature Ultrasonic Treatment. They say this has double the goodness; double the fun! Can't wait to start! Let's see.

To start things of, my hair was rinsed, followed by an application of this magic potion - an improved formula compared to the predecessor. This new blend would grant a Smoother-Softer-Stronger finish. 

Now comes the awesome part. This is the much talked about ultrasonic iron (that also cost a bomb!), meant to enhance the penetration of hair products into each hair strand. Its a cold-iron, so no heat damage here.

Watch as the iron changes color when it comes in contact with my damaged hair, from red to blue.

After a round of ironing, my hair was rinsed again. The normal Ultrasonic Treatment ends here.

For the premium version however, there is a second step - a second product is applied on to my damp hair.

And ironed once more, then rinsed again - the third and final rinse as part of this treatment. This time my hair was blown-dry afterwards.

A third product was applied - Milbon's Deesse's Hair Treatment for long lasting results.

Last but not least, the final step - application of Scalp tonic and Serum. In Number76, this is an essential last step for all hair services, including standard hair cuts.

Then, I got my hair curled! This time with a 38mm curling tong for big curls and waves. Look how soft and shiny my hair has become. I couldn't stop playing with my bouncy curls! All hail vanity afterwards.

Now, the Before | After. Fizziness have drastically reduced and my hair felt so much more healthier than before! It also felt as though my hair color has been enhanced along the way!

This Ultrasonic Premium Hair Treatment took 60 minutes in total to complete. There's a reason they call this the Magic Treatment. It was truly magical - or so my hair felt that it was. Thank you @number_76 and @76_han and assistant for this marvelous hair pampering session.
