San Nae Deul @ Empire Damansara - Cheap Korean BBQ Buffet In PJ

Happy Saturday! My favorite time of the week. What more over my favorite food!

San Nae Deul

At a little pass 12pm on a Saturday afternoon, I arrived at a rather deserted Empire Damansara - a little too early for lunch perhaps - or maybe its the gloomy vibe which makes the place look a tad eerie altogether, I still can't seem to get used to those shady corners and wet cold bricks.

Nevertheless, today, I came on an empty stomach and am seriously looking forward to a hefty and fulfilling lunch. I even cut back on dinner the night before! I have a tendency to overeat in buffets but doesn't everyone?

Overall Rating: 7.5/10. No fancy-pancy wagyu and kobe here, but I thought the barbecue meat selection and quality were pleasant - some were good; most were decent. Similarly, most of the Korean dishes that we sampled were also satisfactory and please remember to try their kimchi soup! The banchans on the other hand are neglectable, nothing interesting and they didn't have my favorites - sweetened anchovies and sauteed seaweed. For just under 50 bucks, this a la carte buffet certainly sounds penny-worthy to me. Today, I walked out of San Nae Deul feeling satisfied, with a hair full of smoke, and a bloated stomach to boost.
