Again, the theme will be desserts. I've decided to do an extension of the Top 5 New Dessert Places In Damansara Uptown that I wrote about previously.

In no particular order, shall we?
Tsujiri Malaysia
Tsujiri is one of the newest dessert hotspots to hit Damansara Uptown,
serving its popular matcha and houjicha soft serve alongside an array of
premium Japanese teas and desserts. For a good introduction to what they have,
go for the Signature Tsujiri Parfait (RM16.50). While the red bean paste at the
bottom could be creamier, the green tea flavour was intense — in a pleasant way
— and left a luxurious bittersweet aftertaste with every mouthful.
Address: 58, Jalan SS21/58, Damansara Utama, 47400 Petaling Jaya, Selangor.
MIRU Dessert Cafe
Topped with butter and sugar, the Original Shibuya Honey Toast (RM16) is delectably crusty on the outside, yet fluffy and soft inside. Paired with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream, it is a simple but no less delicious sweet treat. Portion sizes are generous too, so bring a friend!
MIRU is located at:

Softsrve
One of the newest additions to Softsrve's menu, the After Dinner (RM17) features rich chocolate and salted caramel ice cream, layered with all sorts of sweet treats like raspberry crunch and chocolate brownie bites. The caramel sauce comes in a loaded plastic syringe — fun!

Every Sundae By Cielo Dolci
I have visited Every
Sundae on several occasions and am amazed by how they style their desserts in
so many creative ways. I personally named this Dreamy Impression (RM15). Crisp
Belgian waffles, vanilla bean soft serve ice cream and a topping of fluffy
candy clouds. Yum.

Ampersand By Culinary Rebels
Bored of the usual
sweet desserts? Try Lolita’s Revenge (RM20) — its experimental combination of
flavours is unconventional, to say the least. To eat this, first poke through
the molten lava cake on top to let the lemon scented white chocolate centre
flow onto the Thai herb-infused panna cotta, spicy ‘sand’ and vanilla ice
cream. Take a big courageous bite of adventure!

A Pie Thing
The S'mores Pie (RM10.50) is probably one of the most memorable dessert
pies I've had at A Pie Thing. The dainty marshmallows were lightly toasted to a
gooey perfection, and scattered across a bed of warm, melted chocolate. What
else can one possibly need on a rainy day?
A Pie Thing is located at:
Address: 128, SS21/35 Damansara Utama Petaling Jaya.
Location: Nearby the DU Police Station and LX Mode car showroom. Same row by the other end of the block from POKC and Epicuro.
Opening Hours: 12pm - 11pm (Tue - Sun). 12pm - 12am (Fri - Sat). Closed Monday.
The Ais
"Ice cream... Ice Cream..." the waiter uttered while casually ringing his hand held bell. We decided with the Mini Pancakes (Rm17.90) that came with our choice of ice cream flavor. We picked the Horlicks Kit Kat flavor. The pancakes were dainty and fine; the ice cream was nothing to shout about but pleasant, though it didn't taste anything close to horlicks. Needless to say, our dessert experience at The Ais felt expensive and bearably boring even.
Address: 78A, (1st floor), Jalan SS 21/39, Damansara Utama, 47400 Petaling Jaya.
Location: Above The Library. Same row as Starbucks.

Opening Hours: 1pm - 12am Daily. Closed Tuesday.
Dal.Komm
Dal.Komm's signature Grapefruit Bingsu (RM12.90) is exactly the kind of treat designed for scorching days. As the bingsu is more tart than sweet, every spoonful felt incredibly refreshing. If you prefer something more dessert-like, try the Apple Crumble Bingsu (RM15.90), which is sweeter, richer and wonderfully textured, thanks to its toppings of biscuit crumbs, vanilla ice cream and whipped cream.
Address: No.61, Jalan SS21/37, Damansara Utama, 47400 Petaling Jaya.
Location: Same row as HSBC Bank, Xiao Lao Wang Hot Pot, Umai-Ya and Lammeeya.
Opening Hours: 9am - 12am (Mon-Thu). 10am - 1am (Fri-Sat). 10am - 11pm (Sunday).
BingSu Cafe
This massive Mango Cheese Bingsu (RM16.90) is a gorgeous bowl of caramelised mangoes, cubes of perfectly baked cheesecake, raisins and a scoop of mango ice cream. What wow-ed me the most was the texture of the shaved ice, which struck the perfect balance between flaky and milky. It is definitely one of the best bingsus I’ve had.
Address: 28, Jalan SS21/35 Daa mansara Utama, 47400 Petaling Jaya.
Location: Same row as POKC, Ratha Raub, Rekindle and Epicuro.
Phone: +603 77 333 086
Opening Hours: 12pm - 12am Daily.
Cottle Coffee Malaysia
I love durian cakes —
I am quintessentially Malaysian like that. They call theirs Aroma Therapy
(RM15) and it is delectable. The chiffon layers are fluffy and the durian cream
layered between is subtle but so addictive. It’s definitely one of those that will
make you come back for seconds!
Address: 15, Jalan SS 21/60, Damansara Utama, 47400 Petaling Jaya.
Phone: 03-77337070
Opening Hours: 8.30am - 10pm Weekdays. 9am - 10pm Weekends.
Sangkaya
Bring out the beach
umbrellas please! True to all the good reviews I have heard, the Signature
Sangkaya (RM10.50) is terrific. The sundae combines three mini scoops of
coconut ice cream, shreds of fresh coconut at the bottom, and unlimited refills
of six different types of toppings. Every mouthful is a good balance of creamy
and refreshing, with a good mix of textures.
Address: No.80, Ground Floor, Jalan SS21/39, 47400 Damansara Utama Petaling Jaya.
Location: Same row as The Ais, Starbucks and Fish Castle.
