This writeup is the second addition to my CONNOR'S Experience. (Read Part 1 Here)
That evening, I dropped by Black Market, at St Mary Place for dinner. The restaurant is famed for its signature pork ribs dish. I mean, who could resist?
What I sampled that evening, was a little more interesting compared to the conventional menu, featuring three unique interpretations of CONNOR'S infused dishes - two pork and one chicken. Also not forgetting the interval gulps of CONNOR'S Stout Porter, throughout the night.
This midweek dinner of crispy ribs and beer felt like the perfect antidote for a long and tiring day.

| My first time having crusty pork ribs and it was finger licking good! The Black CONNOR'S Pork Ribs (RM69++ incl. 1 full pint of CONNOR'S Stout Porter) was crispy on the outside yet tender inside. The flavors were sweet, along with a right hint of bitter aftertaste, derived from the CONNOR'S coated, overnight marinated ribs of course. The portion was also substantial. At the side, house-made greens and potato salad. Best eaten with a pint of CONNOR'S Stour Porter! |

| Fried chicken is my type of food. Though putting preference aside, this CONNOR'S Pan-fried Chicken With Homemade Potato Salad (RM43++ incl. 1 full pint of CONNOR's Stout Porter) was easily one of the crowd favorites of the evening. Marinated overnight with CONNOR'S and cooked sous vide for 30-minutes, the meat was flavorsome, tender, and the crunchy golden brown crust was simply the icing on top. Comfort food! |

| The highlight of this Signature Pork Shoulder With Homemade CONNOR'S Sauce (RM53++ incl. 1 full pint of CONNOR'S Stout Porter) would have to be the housemade CONNOR'S infused sauce. The reduction was thick and sweet. On it's own, the pork shoulder could be a bit on the drier side, so remember to have it with the sauce. |
After our dinner, we sat around and had casual conversations, mostly on pokemon-small-talks.
It was a typically crowded night at Black Market that weekday, most were cramped around small tables outside, having a pint or two. The dinner crowd indoors was a little quieter, mostly occupied with food and chit-chatter.

By the time we were done, it was a little pass 9pm, before I requested for my GRAB ride back home.
