Earlier this evening, I attended the "Japan Festival Launch 2017", held at the Concourse Level of New Wing, 1 Utama Shopping Center.
This year's Japan Festival will be running from 6-8 October 2017 (this weekend!), with plenty of travel packages and promotions on offer by H.I.S Travel Malaysia, to some of Japan's most popular travel destinations.
Apart from that, there are also a plethora of information booths set up, showcasing a handful of Japanese food and beverages, alongside games and activities.
The launch was also held in conjunction with the 60th Diplomatic Anniversary of Malaysia and Japan. That evening, I witnessed a handful of Live Stage Performances, as well as a very educational matcha tea making experience.

The most appealing part of the launch for me would be probably be the 'Kimono Experience', where I got to wear a kimono for the first time! Looking all feminine like that.
