My Take On NUViT Anti-Acne Series. Does It Work?

I read about NUViT when one of my friends wrote about it sometime back. The primary reason I was attracted to this brand was it's anti-acne range and their formulations. Although I no longer have acne breakout like I used to, it is still crucial for me to control my breakout. I would never want to go through the acne-phase ever again.

Hence, I decided to give NUViT's Anti Acne Series a go. Targeted for oily and acne prone skin, this series contained an exclusive ingredient called NUViT's AC-Pure, aimed to:

The 3-step premium series (Spot ; Entire ; Enhance) uses a concentrated formulation of science and natural plant extract, and is also non-allergenic and alcohol free.

Each individual product is priced between RM30-40, making it strikingly affordable to purchase. To be honest, I was sceptical about its capabilities and wasn't expecting much. But that changed after a couple of applications.

Here's my take on the NUViT's Anti Acne Series.

🔹Acne & Blemishes Prevention Concentrate 🔹

Benefits : Purify pores, Acne prevention, Oil control, Improve skin texture, Tighten pores 

Skin Type: Oily, Combination 

Key Ingredients : 2% Salicylic Acid + Zinc Oxide + Tea Tree Oil 

How To Use: After cleansing, apply product onto palm or cotton pad, massage gently onto face and neck. Use daily, morning and night.

In the first step of my skincare routine, #Spot, I gave the Acne & Blemishes Prevention Concentrate a bit of a shake, before applying it all over my face. Use sparingly! There's a bit of medicinal scent to this product, but it's not too strong. It may put off some people in my humble opinion.

The product reduced the whiteheads and blackheads on my nose. Hence it is easier for me to apply my foundation. However, please be patient. The product required some time to show it's effectiveness.

Benefits : Acne prevention, Blackhead prevention, Oil control, Tighten pores, Moisturize and Soothe Skin 

Skin Type: Oily, Combination 

Key Ingredients : 0.5% Salicylic Acid + AC.NETTM + Tea Tree Oil Bisoabolol + Meadowsweet Extract 

How To Use: After cleansing, apply product onto palm or cotton pad, massage gently onto face and neck. Use daily, morning and night.

In the second step, #Entire, I applied the Acne Corrector Purifying Fluid on my T-zone, where it's oilier. In terms of texture, this lightweight gel can be a little sticky; hence all it needs is just a thin layer of application. The product has no scent.

After using it for two weeks, it did a pretty good job in reducing the oiliness of my face - probably half, but good enough. My skin felt less oily when I do my first cleanse in the morning, particularly around the nose area.

Benefits : Anti-Imperfection and Correction, Blackhead prevention, Pore control 

Skin Type: Oily, Combination 

Key Ingredients : 0.5% Salicylic Acid + AC.NETTM + Tea Tree Oil 

How To Use: Apply to affected areas only.

Only use the Acne Purifying Gel, #Enhance, on acne, pimples or inflammed areas, aimed to provide a 24-hour breakout control, with the ability to reduce redness in a short period of time. As illustrated in the photograph, the red sensitive patch on my cheeks, dissapeared after just a few applications of this purifying gel. I only use this at night and it works!

Like most anti-acne products, which carries oil-controlling functions, overtime usage may cause dry skin, hence remember to moisturize!
