Stepping Into The World's First COACH Airways At Freeport A'Famosa Outlet, Melaka.

I'm sure you're familiar with the luxury brand, COACH. It's everywhere and has been around for as long as I remember. In this write-up though, I will be bringing you to the world's first, one of it's kind, COACH Airways.

Like the name suggests, COACH Airways is a unique luxury retail store and cafe, housed within a 1981 B747-230B aircraft (they call it, The Queen of the Sky), located smack at the center of Freeport A'Famosa Outlet, Melacca. You wouldn't miss this gigantic landmark.

That sunny Saturday morning, I was invited to Freeport A'Famosa Outlet, to witness the official launch and ribbon-cutting ceremony by YAB Datuk Seri Ab Rauf Bin Yusoh, Cheif Minister of Malacca and Datuk Julian Lau, Director of Freeport A'Famosa Outlet, followed by a tour of the much anticipated COACH Airways.

Imagine a new, fun and immersive shopping environment, emulating an air travel experience. That's - COACH Airways, the Queen of Retail.

Inside - the colors and fittings was exceptionally aesthetically pleasing to the eye, designed for a comfortable and memorable retail experience, with plenty of hotspots for photographs.

COACH Airways' layout was split into 3 sections - cockpit and cabin, retail store, and cafe.

Here're some snippets of the Cockpit and Cabin section.

The Retail Store Section on the other hand, features an exclusive COACH Airways Collection, consisting of a selection of t-shirts, passport leather cases, wheeled carry-on luggage, field tote and travel acessories. Apart from that, there're also a curated picks of all-gender ready-to-wear and bags. Do shop around!

You'd get to pick from a selection of freshly brewed coffee or signature cold pressed juices at the Cafe Section. There're dine-in spaces to relax, post-shopping.
