My definition of an ultimate sleep experience : soft bedsheets, cozy pillows, hugable bolsters. That's - exactly what I'm going to preach in this write-up.

So much has happened in the past couple of months, I simply do not know where to start. One thing's for sure however, I think I'm getting far too much sleep of late, hence the prolonged hiatus maybe. So let's dive straight into what made me snuggle-up on most days.
I shall start with what I think is the quitessential starter for a good night's sleep - soft bedsheets from Kapas Living.

Is not only their best-selling item, but also one of the best bedsheets I've ever own - and I'm not even exaggerating.
My
Tencel Bedsheet Set (RM294.00 in Queen Size) comes with 1 x bedsheet and 2 x standard pillow cases. There're a variety of colors to pick from, mine is in Ivory.
Firstly, the bedsheet is made from 300TC 100% Eucalyptus material imported from Austria, making it so soft and smooth that it feels like silk. No wonder I always have this massive urge to roll on my bed because it feels so-so soft!
The other thing that stood out for me was that these bedsheets have a cooling sensation to it - a huge plus point for a hot sleeper like me. I have a tendency to switch sleeping positions in the middle of night because I can't stand the feeling of hot body patches on the bed, so this cold-to-touch feature is definitely an added plus!
In terms of ease of fitting, the extra thick elastic garters made sure my bedsheets stays tucked in. No more messy sheets and uncessary pulling and tucking for me.
This sustainable bedsheet are also breathable yet durable. I usually use the same bedsheets for 10 years or more (why of course I still wash it!), so I'm expecting it to last me for a long long time.

THE KAPAS ALTERNATIVE DOWN PILLOW
Is one of the most affordable pillow options that Kapas offers.
I'm such picky pillow person. I can't do pillows that are too soft nor too firm, it has to be in a perfect balance of fluff (and this one is customisable!). Else, it would give me a sore neck the next morning.
There're a handful of pillow options to choose from and I picked the
Kapas Alternative Down Pillow (RM139.00 in Standard Size) because I wanted a pillow that was soft and plush; not too firm. There's a

This pillow is made with 100% premium gel-like 0.9D microfibre, giving it a softer and fluffier finish.
I really liked that it comes with an in-built zipper, meant for customizing my preferred fluff. When the pillow came, I slept on it for a few nights and realised that it was too high (too fluff) for me. So all I did was, unzip the pillow case and remove some fill, so that it flattens out a little bit more. As far as I know, there aren't any/many pillows in the market that allows me to do so, so this feature was definitely an added star.
The pillow came with an outer casing that is made with 100% cotton for extra breathability and cooling comfort. It also has a 5cm gusset (the area that seperates the top from the bottom) to give me the much needed extra neck support.
Is the only bolster Kapas carries, and it's certified huggable. How many of you can't sleep without hugging onto something? That's me. I need my chou chou.
The bolster is filled with a proprietary blend of 0.9D and 3D microfibre filling, giving my hugs the right amount of bounce and support.
Like the pillow, it is also fully adjustable, meaning I can remove and readd the fillings depending on what I'm comfortable with. After using the bolster for some time, it tends to flatten out, so this feature gives me an option to switch out the fillings and ta-daa, I get a brand new bolster again.
In terms of outer casing, the BambooCloud protector is made with ultra breathable IceBamboo material, consisting of a signature blend of bamboo and polyster, keeping me cool as I hug it. It is also anti-dustmite and anti-pilling protected.
