Influencers' Night At Quivo @ Pavilion KL & Al Halabi @ JW Marriott KL

Two events in this write up - Quivo and Al Halabi.

A couple of week nights ago, I was invited to Quivo's Influencers' Night, organised by the team behind Valiram Group, where I got to sample a handful of Quivo's signature mediterranean dishes, in bite-sized offerings. There were plenty of wine to go around, which I had multiple refills of, notably from Sunrise Wine & Spirits.

I was really glad that I got to catch up with a couple of good friends that evening, and not to mentioned meeting new ones too. I always enjoy events like these. Thank you Pavilion Kuala Lumpur for the invitation.

Thin crust Qeema & Margherita Pizza cooked in wood-fired oven! I like!
Mini Crab Cake Burger.
I absolutely love the Mini Beef Picca (centre). It was great that it came in bite sized offerings - fit for one mouth full - the meat was juicy, tender and flavorsome. Delicious!
Mini Falafel Burger.
Rockstar Popcorn Shrimp.
My favorite of the evening would have to be this Braised Beef Brisket Risotto Bite. The risotto was creamy yet not too mushy; the braised beef brisket was savory yet had a tinge of sweetness to it. We requested for another platter, just for these risotto bites - and I had three spoonsful. More please!
Not the best desserts I've had I have to admit, though I think I wouldn't mind coming back for their other lavish desserts.

Overall Rating: 7/10. For the bite-sized nibbles, the wine and the great night.

About a month back, I attended Al Halabi's first-ever Influencers Night. And like the former, I got to meet a lot of new friends that evening, accompanied by some of the best arabic dishes I've had of late.

What blew me away however, was the flamboyant ambiance which put minimalist interiors to shame. There's just something about these Arabic charm that never seize to amaze me.

As part of the event, we were treated to dinner at Al Halabi Restaurant, JW Marriott KL, followed by dessert at Al Halabi Lounge, Starhill KL. Thank you Tarbush Group of restaurants for the hospitality.

With Shereene, Co-Founder of Tarbush.
On the left, one of the best and creamiest Hommus I've had! This went really well with my warm Lebanese bread. On the right, baba ghanoush, also a dipping best eaten with Lebanese breads.
Lebanese Breads.
Kibbeh. Falafel. Muhammarra & Cheese.
The highlight of the evening would be this signature Whole Uzi Lamb with Bazilla Rice.
I also had a go at the Tarbush Mixed Grill, consisting of Shish Tawook, Shish Kebab, Grilled Prawns and Arayes Lamb.
For dessert, we went over to Al Halabi Lounge, Starhill KL, where I got to sample a decadent serving of Cream Caramel (pic) and Mahalabia.

Overall Rating: 7/10. For the good food, great company and fanciful ambiance. For those looking for a fantastic Middle Eastern feast smacked in the middle of the golden triangle, I would higly recommend giving Al Halabi Restaurant a go.

Al Habibi is located at:
